EC number: 466-480-2 | CAS number: -
The test substance is an orange powder. The test substance did not melt or boil under the conditions of the test. Because the test substance is solid at room temperature, the flash point could be waived. The density at 19.8°C is 1665 kg/m3 with a mass median diameter of 5.1 µm and a particle size distribution from approximately 0.3 µm to 18 µm. The vapour pressure of the test substance was estimated to be 2.04E-30 Pa based on the calculated boiling point by using the Modified Watson Correlation. The calculated partition coefficient between n-octanol and aqueous phase is: log Pow: <-6.1. The water solubility of the test substance is >740 g/L at room temperature and the surface tension of aqueous solution at 20.9°C was determined to be 60.9 mN/m at a concentration of 0.1%. The auto flammability temperature was 295°C and the test substance is considered not to be highly flammable and does not ignite spontaneously when in contact with water or humid air. The test substance is not explosive, has no oxidizing properties, but dissociates in water. Classification of the test substance is not needed according to the Directive 67/584/EEC and according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
