Results and discussion

Results:

Localized corrosion was not observed with the steel and aluminium plates. According to the guidelines, the test for localized corrosion was negative.

The weight loss of the aluminum and steel plates was < 13.5% (i.e. equivalent to < 6.25 mm/year corrosion rate). According to the guidelines, the test for uniform corrosion was negative.
