Long-term toxicity testing on fish for charcoal is not required (see "discussion" below).

Additional information

Long-term toxicity testing on fish is not required as charcoal is unlikely to cross biological membranes and will not bioaccumulate due to particle size (see IUCLID section 4.5) and partition coefficient (log Pow <1.4; see IUCLID section 4.7).
