Additional information

The study by Niederlehner (1998) is based on standard guideline with acceptable modifications due to volatility of test compound and includes measured confirmation of exposure concentrations and results from controls. This is therefore suitable for use as the key study for this endpoint, and was used as the key study in the EU RAR for toluene (2003). The value is supported by data from Kuhn (1989), which is not GLP compliant but follows a standard guideline.
