Description of key information
Common metals should never be used for the storage and handling of sodium hypochlorite. Suitable materials are: PVDF,PTFEE, PVC, CPVC.
The stability of sodium hypochlorite solutions is affected by heat, light, pH and the presence of heavy metal cations.
