Description of key information

Study results of the group of the following nitrates were evaluated : Ammonium nitrate, calcium nitrate, calcium nitrate double salt, magnesium nitrate, Nitcal-K, potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate. The read-across rationale can be found in the document attached in the appropriate target records.

All nitrates show a low or negligible toxicity to aquatic invertebrates, fish and algae.
