Additional information

The key study determined the LC50 to be 2160 mg/l. The following concentrations were used in this study, Nominal: 0 (control), 992, 1526, 2348, 3612 and 5556 mg/l (Measured (corrected average): < 25 (control), 1065, 1373, 1981, 2951 and 3991 mg/l). This study concludes that for a 96 h exposure of tetrahydrofuran to P. promelas, the LC50 is 2160 mg/l. Behavioural effects were also seen during the test which led to the derivation of an EC50 of 1930 mg/l.
