Observations were made to determine whether the substance reaches a temperature of 200°C by self-heating during 24h.
In the first test with container 100x100x100 mm, the temperature of the sample raised to 140°C during 24h. The test is negative.
No additional test was required.
Adipic acid must not be assigned to Division 4.2 under the conditions of the test.
