Conclusions:
There was no indication of a skin sensitizing potential of acetone in skin prick tests with 136 test persons. Principally, concerning the used amounts in skin prick tests, a degreasing of the skin and the minor irritation are negligible.

In skin prick tests, none of 136 tested persons showed a positive skin reaction to undiluted acetone which was used as solvent for other test substances (here acid anhydrides).
