Description of key information

The relative density of the Petroleum gases is 0.4228 to 0.589 g.cm-3 at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Data were available for the substances methane, ethane, propane, isobutane and butane from the CRC handbook (2008). The data from these substances will be read across between members of the category. As the substances are gases at ambient temperature this is the density range of the liquified gases.
