Description of key information
The water solubilities of the rosin ester substances range from <0.22 mg/L to <32.3 mg/L.
The water solubility of Resin acids and rosin acids esters with pentaerythritol is < 0.63 mg/L at 20°C.

Additional information
A GLP-compliant study, conducted according to OECD 105 modified shake flask method, was provided (Inveresk, 2004a), which contains water solubility results for Resin acids and rosin acids esters with pentaerythritol. For Resin acids and rosin acids, esters with pentaerythritol three measurements provided a mean result of 380 µg/L, however due to the low repeatability, the maximum value of 630 µg/L has been retained as a worst-case limit.
