Description of key information

Amides, C8 -18 and C18 -unsatd., N, N-bis(hydroxyethyl) is readily biodegradable and correspondingly expected to be also rapidly biodegraded in the terrestrial environment. Therefore, it can reasonably be assumed that there is no significant longer-term exposure of the substance to soil macro and micro-organisms, terrestrial plants or birds.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is not expected to be bioaccumulative and therefore toxicity to birds to not expected to be of concern.
