Amides, C8-18 and C18-unsatd., N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl) has been shown to degrade rapidlyin the environment under aerobic conditions without formation of persistent degradation products. Biodegradation under aerobic conditions has been correspondingly considered to be the most relevant fate process in the aquatic and terrestrial environments. Additional distribution modelling is not required according to REACH.
