First-aid measures

In case of contact with skin: Rinse immediatly with excess water. Remove contaminated clothing.

In case of contact with eyes: Rinse immediately with excess water and seek medical advice.

In case of ingestion: Rinse mouth and drink water. Induce vomiting and seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: In case of fire; all extinguishing agents are permitted.

Special exposure hazards: not flammable.

Accidental release measures

Personal precaution: avoid contact with the respiratory system, eyes and skin. Use personal protection equipment.

Environmental precautions: the substance shall not arrive in the soil or the aquatic environment.

Methods for cleaning up spillages: Shovel up material and recycle if possible. Dispose of contaminated material as prescribed.

Handling and storage

Storage: To be stored away from humidity at temperatures of ca. 25°C

Requirements for packaging: to be transported in original packaging.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Technical: Take care to ensure sufficient ventilation, including local suction.

Hygiene: No eating, drinking or smoking.

Respiratory equipment: In case of dust, dust protection mask

Hand protection: suitable gloves

Eye protection: Safety glasses; with dust: protective glasses

Skin protection: Protective clothing

Stability and reactivity

Conditions to avoid: At temperatures of >200°C decomposition to sodium acid pyrophosphate (Na2H2P2O7).

Method of disposal: Shovel up the material and recycle if possible.
