Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

inherently biodegradable

Additional information

Acid Black 234 biodegradation was estimated with the prediction tool (QSAR dyes R&C report produced by version QSAR dyes RC 2.0 Developed by Milano Chemometrics and QASR research group Dept. Earth and Environmental Science, University Milano Bicocca, Italy). The substance resulted as non ready biodegradable.

Moreover, similar substance 1 was tested following OECD 302B with a final result of 38% of biodegrdation after 28 days. The substance is then considered not readily biodegradable, but can be considered  inherently primary biodegradable for read across.
