Conclusions:
Chromium (VI) trioxide is corrosive to skin, therefore studies of repeated dose toxicity using dermal exposure are not justified for scientific reasons and on animal welfare grounds. Occupational exposure is primarily via inhalation; a repeated dose inhalation study is available.
