The substance is an UVCB has been classified according to the EU-directive 1999/45/EG. 1-Propene, chlorinated, epoxidized, distn. residues contain propylen oxide CAS No. 75-56-9, 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropan CAS No. 106-89-8 and 1,2,3-trichlopropane CAS No. 96-18-4 which trigger classification and labelling as filled in below.
Further components are listed in chapter 1 but these two components reflect the worst case classification and labelling. Additionally, the substance contains a variety of epoxidized compounds. These are as well as epichlorhydrin likely to form DNA adducts and are thus evaluated as mutagenic and carcinogenic.
