Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

<= 1.2E-03 Pa at 20°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The vapour pressure was determined according to the test method OCD 104. The test item has a vapour pressure of <= 1.2E-03 Pa at 20°C and of <= 5.1E-02 Pa at 50°C.

The calculation is based on the lowest possible boiling temperature at ambient pressure following Grain Watson estimation.

Additional, the vapour pressure of the substance fatty acids, C16 -18, esters with ethylene glycol (CAS 91031 -31 -1) was determined by QSAR calculation with SPARC (v4.6) for single representative constituents. The highest obtained value is 1.97 E-05 Pa for palmitic acid, values for esters (main constituents) are significantly lower.
