Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of TPGDA. Fish turned out to be the most sensitive species revealing an LC50 (96h) of >4.6 - <10 mg/L. Thus, TPGDA is considered to be acutely toxic to aquatic organisms. Effects of TPGDA towards algae and water flea (Daphnia magna) were found in the same range providing an ErC50 (72h) of 66 mg/L for algae and an EC50 (48h) of 89 mg/L for water flea.

No data on long-term toxicity are available.
