Description of key information

Adaptation according to column 2 of Annex X, 9.5.1. The results of CSA have not indicated the need to investigate further the effects of the FMMVF fibres to sediment. Furthermore, the substance is already in use for soil treatment and soil structure enhancement. A pre-requisite for this use is that the substance is not degraded in soil. For this reason the substance can be regarded as inert when in contact with soil. Thus no sediment toxicity is expected.
