Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

The sample showed an exothermal reaction that started at about 380 degC. The reaction temperatures did not reach the limit temperature of 400 degC. The wire mesh basket was empty after the measurement. Potassium dichromate can therefore be classified as not undergoing spontaneous combustion.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test shows that potassium dichromate can be classified as not undergoing spontaneous combustion.
Executive summary:

The test material was tested according to EC Test Procedure A 16. The sample showed an exothermal reaction that started at about 380 degC. The reaction temperatures did not reach the limit temperature of 400 degC. The wire mesh basket was empty after the measurement. Potassium dichromate can therefore be classified as not undergoing spontaneous combustion.
