Executive summary:

A study was conducted to evaluate the flash point of ‘oils, vegetable, deodorizer distillates’ using a continuously closed cup method according to standard guidelines (including EU method A.9, ASTM, ISO guideline 2719 and US EPA OPPTS 830.6315). Under the test conditions, the flash point of test substance was determined to be 173°C at 101.3 kPa (Fieseler, 2010m).
