A calculated Koc between 12.56 to 14.12 L/kg (logKoc = 1.0990 to 1.1497) was determined for n-Vinylpyrrolidone (nVP) using USEPA KOCWIN v. 2.0. These results indicate that nVP is likely to remain in water and not adsorb to the organic portion of soils and sediments. nVP is expected to be mobile in soil but this movement will be mitigated by rapid biodegradation.
