Description of key information

Cumene hydroperoxide may explode on heating at about 150°C. Cumene hydroperoxide has a 10 h half-life  at 158°C. The substance is a strong oxidant and reacts violently with combustible and reducing materials causing fire and explosion hazard. Contact with cobalt, copper or lead alloys and mineral acids may lead to violent decomposition.
