Description of key information
The study does not need to be conducted because the substance is a solid.
Moreover, silver nitrate is marketed in the form of solid crystalls (viscosity not applicable) and in form of aqueous solutions (ca. 2-60%). In these solutions, silver nitrate exists completely dissolved into inorganic ions Ag+ and NO3-, which are not assumed to change the viscosity of water significantly. Thus, experimental determination of the viscosity of silver nitrate solutions is not deemed to be requirend, since no relevant information on environmental or toxicological behaviour of these solutions would be gained.
