After evaporation or exposure to the air, 4,4 -sulphonyldiphenol will be relatively fast degraded by photochemical processes with a DT50 of 26.5 hours. No data on hydrolysis are available. However, phenols are generally regarded as stable towards hydrolysis [Harris, 1990].
