Description of key information

The flash point at standard atmospheric pressure (760 mm Hg) is 115 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
115 °C

Additional information

The reported flash point of 115 °C is based on an Open-Cup method. Whereas REACh requires any new measurements to be made using Closed-cup methods, this existing value is well-separated from the regulatory (e.g., GHS) criteria for classification of physical hazard for flammable liquids. Substances having flash point < 93 °C are not classified as flammable liquids.
