There is no experimental chronic fish toxicity data available, but QSAR predictions show that methoxyethanol is practically non-toxic to fish at chronic levels of exposure. Acute data show that toxicity is so low that chronic toxicity information is unlikely to be required and should be sufficient to predict PEC:PNEC ratios are below one even with default assessment factors typical of acute data only.
