Description of key information

Taking into account exposure considerations, long-term aquatic toxicity to fish studies are not carried out as proper risk management measures are implemented during manufacturing process and no exposure to aquatic compartment is likely to occur in the whole life cicle of the substance

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to Annex VIII of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, a long-term aquatic toxicity study on fish is to be considered when the substance is poorly water soluble. Two studies on Read Across substances RA2 and RA1 (refer to IUCLID Section 4.8 for study summaries) were commissioned to determine the solubility of these substances in water. Both substances were found to have solubility >1000g/L which, according to the TGD and CSR guidances, indicates they are very soluble (substances with solubility >10g/L are deemed to be very soluble). Therefore, this study has not been conducted.
