Viscosity:
0.235 mPa · s (dynamic)
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The viscosity is required at 40 °C for classification and labelling, but is only available from Meng (2008) at elevated pressure (ca. 4 atm) due to the design of the experimental apparatus. However, as the data-set is pressure dependant it can be shown that the effect on the viscosity at this pressure is negligible, and within the experimental error. As a result, the data is considered to be of sufficient accuracy for the purposes of classification and labelling, and risk assessment. The study is very well documented. The study quantified systematic errors and compared the results with previous workers. As a result, testing does not appear scientifically necessary based on the use of existing data and, given the above points, the criteria in Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex XI, 1.1.1 are considered to be met.
