Description of key information

Henry’s law constant: 0.217 Pa m3/mol. (25 °C)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
0.217
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The Henry’s law constant for aqueous peracetic acid solution was determined over the temperature range of 278°-293°K by measuring the vapour pressure in a gas stream of nitrogen or air that was in equilibrium with the solution of known peracetic acid concentration. It was determined to be 467.6 M atm-1. This corresponds to 0.217 Pa m3 / mol.
