Description of key information

In a 21-day flow-through life-cycle toxicity test with the cladoceran Daphnia magna (OECD 211), an NOEC of 1.9 mg/l (measured concentration) was determined. Nominal test concentrations ranged between 0.25 mg/l and 4.0 mg/l. Measured concentrations (0.24-3.7 mg/l) were within the range of 84 to 105% of nominal throughout the study. Significant treatment-related effects (reductions in survival, reproduction and growth) were seen at 3.7 mg/l (measured concentration) only.
