Description of key information

A weight of evidence approach has been used to conclude on short-term toxicity to Daphnia.

From experimental data, EC50 values range from 39 mg/L at 24 hours to 13 mg/L at 72 hours (comparable with reported fish LC50-values), the most conservative value has been selected.

This is the predicted 72h Daphnia EC 50 = 13 mg/L.

Additional information

From two available studies, EC50 values are in the range of 13 -20 mg/L (Bringmann & Kuehn, 1982; Hessov, 1975).
