Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

As soil exposure is mainly via STP sludge, this exposure route is highly unlikely as the substance is readily biodegradeable and has a low log Kow (-1.1). Thus adsorption to sludge is highly unlikely. There is also no direct application to soil for this substance. The vapour pressure is very low (way below 0.01 Pa) making aerial deposition to soil very unlikely.

Risk to soil has been evaluated using the Equilibrium Partioning Method. The outcome of the chemical safety assessment indicates that risks to the soil compartment are controlled during manufacture, formulation and use of the substance.
