Titanium tetraisopropanolate is hydrolytically unstable at all pH and temperature conditions determined by using OECD 111 in accordance with GLP. Only hydrolysis at 10°C and pH 4.0 and 9.0 gave sufficient data, before equilibrium was reached, to calculate a reaction half-life. Half-life is < 3 minutes. The average percent recovery at reaction completion (samples taken at 60 minutes and 180 minutes) for all test conditions is 107 %, indicating complete hydrolysis with no significant reaction products other than IPA and hydrated titanium oxides.
