Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Acute toxicity studies for the three representative trophic levels report LC50/EC50 values >300 mg/L, thus the substance is not considered hazardous to aquatic species. Further, Tris-amino met the criteria of readily biodegradable within the 10 day window and has with a low potential for bioaccumulation (log Kow=-2.31). According to REACH Annex IX requirements, long-term toxicity testing shall only be considered when the chemical safety assessment indicates the need for further investigations. Hence, long-term testing in fish can be waived.
