Description of key information

The self-ignition temperature is 370°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
370 °C

Additional information

A self-ignition temperature of 370°C has been reported by Gestis (2009). This value is considered to be reliable as the self-ignition temperature of the structural analogue hydroxypropyl acrylate has been determined to be 308°C at 1001 - 1016 hPa (BASF 2009) and 310°C (BASF 1978), respectively.
