Additional information

Dermal and eye irritation properties were assessed on New Zealand White rabbits according to OECD TG 404 and OECD TG 405, respectively.

In acute dermal study, no signs of dermal irritancy were noted in any animal (3 in total) after occlusive application of pure substance for 4 hours. None of the treated animals showed clinical signs or behavioral alterations. In acute eye irritation 0.1 ml of pure substance were instilled in the eye of 3 rabbits; no corneal opacity or iritis was noted during the study.

The substance has to be considered as non irritant both for the for the skin and eyes and does not meet the criteria for classification as irritant according to EU labeling regulations Commission Directive 2001/59/EC and according to CLP.

Justification for classification or non-classification

As no significant inflammation was observed both in eye and skin , the substance is considered as non irritant and is not classified according to EU labeling regulations Commission Directive 2001/59/EC and according to CLP
