Description of key information
The auto-ignition temperature of the high trans (cis/trans:10:90) quality is 259°C. Cis quality is expected to be similar.
No additional flammability hazard is therefore expected in normal conditions of storage and use.

The auto-ignition temperature on the high trans quality (cis/trans: 10:90) of the substance was determined according to the DIN 51794 standard. The result was found to be 259°C. No data is available for the high cis quality, however no significant difference is expected from the similar boiling points and flash points.
