Additional information

Flammability (Solids)

The flammability of the test substance was determined in a study which was conducted in accordance with the standardised guideline EU Method A.10.

During the preliminary screening test, the pile failed to ignite during the two minutes that the Bunsen flame was applied. The negative results of the screening test negated the need to perform the main test. The test substance was therefore determined to be non-flammable under the conditions of the test.

Pyrophoric properties

In accordance with section 1.5 of REACH Annex XI, the study does not need to be performed as based on chemical structure pyrophoric properties are not to be expected.

Flammability in contact with water

In accordance with section 1.5 of REACH Annex XI, the study does not need to be performed as based on chemical structure water reactivity is not to be expected.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, the substance does not require classification with respect to flammability.

In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex VI, Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD), the substance does not require classification with respect to flammability.
