For cyclopentane, measured data from author and other investigators were quality assessed and then used to develop a rate constants. The values used to determine valid a rate constant are based on all valid studies at the time of publication. The photooxidative half life for cyclopentane is 3.2 (Droege and Tully 1987). Structural analysis of the substance indicates that it is not expected to undergo hydrolysis in the environment due to the lack of hydrolysable functional groups.
