Description of key information

A boiling point study is not applicable based on the melting point data

According to Annex VII, section 7.3, column 2 of Regulation No. 1907/2006, a study on boiling point need not be conducted if the substance decomposes before boiling. Troclosene sodium decomposes at 252°C as observed in the melting point study (REACH section 7.2) and therefore a boiling point study is not required.
