Description of key information

The 48 hour EC50 is 4.7 mg/L and the 48 hour EL50 is 6.96 mg/L WAF.

The calculated EC50 was determined to be in the range 1.5 - 34.4 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
1.5 mg/L

Additional information

A QSAR was used to calculate the expected toxicity of eleven representative components of the streams in the category. The calculated acute effect concentrations for invertebrates were 1.5-34.4 mg/L. The QSAR results for the representative components are presented here to support the available experimental data on the streams but for determining the classification and labelling of the streams in the category, the classifications of the component substances have been taken from the CLP inventory.
