Description of key information

Should be stated that the potential to adsorb or bind onto sediment is very low: the logKow of oxalic acid is -1.7, much more lower than the trigger value proposed in guides.


On the other hand, the substance is readily biodegradable in water sediment. Therefore, a long term sediment test is not considered suitable due to the high rate of degradation of oxalic acid.
