Description of key information

The reported 72 hour ErC50 and EbC50 for R.subcapitata were 1.5 mg/L and 0.73mg/L.

EC50 for freshwater algae:
1.5 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
1.3 mg/L

Additional information

The study conducted by SRTC (1996) was GLP compliant and followed standard guidelines. Suitable precautions were implemented to take into account the volatility of 2,4,4 -trimethylpentene. This study reported 72 hour ErC50 and EbC50 for R.subcapitata were 1.5 mg/L and 0.73 mg/L. This was selected as the key study as it is GLP compliant and follows standard guidelines.
