Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, soil simulation testing (required in

section 9.2.1.2) does not need to be conducted as FeHBED has no high potential for adsorption to sediment can be expected based on the calculated log Koc = 0,359 (estimated with the Kow method, KOCWIN v2.00) and high water solubility of FeHBED ( 34,55 g/dm3 ) the substance is expected to be very mobile in the aqueous phase and will not absorb to sediment and soil. Therefore, no further water/sediment simulation testing is needed.
