Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance dicyclopentadiene is very similar to substances indan and indene, which are present in the registered substance (two rings, partally aromatic) in concentation cca 50% (w/w) with same vapour pressure (1,3 kPa) and similar Flash Point (32,3°C vs 51°C for registered substance)

The content of naphthalene is usually cca 10% (w/w), however could be up to 30% (w/w) according to SIP (Section 1.2.)

The content of phenol is cca 15 % (w/w), could be up to 40 % (w/w)
