A linear fit was used to obtain the following extrapolated values (adjusted R2 for the linear fit: 0.99994). The following values were extrapolated for temperatures of 20 -30 °C:

The 95 % confidence limits of the linear fit give an uncertainly of not more than ± 0.001. However, at 20°C the sample is solid and the volume change on freezing has not been considered. A 1% error bar (i.e. ± 0.008 g/cm3 ) is quoted for this temperature to take such effects into account.
