Description of key information

The Log Pow at 20 degrees C was 2.89.  Concentration measured in water and octanol separately and ratio used to determine Kow. EU Method A.8.

Additional information

Because the shake flask method is not suitable for surfactants, the solubility of the test substance was determined separately in water and in octanol, then the ratio of the two concentrations used to determine the octanol-water partition coefficient.. The Log Pow at 20 degrees C was 2.89.
