The behavior in the environment can be adressed as there are several data available.

The test item will undergo photodegradation according to an EPI Suite v4.0.SRC AOP v1.92 calculation with a half life of 1.669 hrs. According to the key study based on the OECD TG 111 the test item is hydrolytically stable in acidic, neutral and basic pH ranges.

Biodegradation is not to be expected. The biodegradation according to an OECD TG 301 C was 0% after 28 days based on the O2 consumption. This finding is also in line with a supporting study. Furthermore, the test item is expected to have no potential for bioaccumulation based on a low Log Pow (0.24) and a measured BCF of < 5.7 (OECD TG 305).

According to a calculation based on the equation of Franco&Trapp.2008 resulting in a log Koc of2.42 - 2.39 (pH 5-9), adsoprtion to soil is possible.
